Reed Organ

A reed organ, also called a pump organ, is a type of organ featuring foot-operated bellows which produce wind, and a hand-operated keyboard which generates musical sound. In the second half of the 19th century, reed organs became popular for their low cost, power of expression, and comfortable size, and came to replace pipe organs for use in church services. They also became common instruments in homes. Above the keyboards are several knobs called "stops," which can be used to increase the range of sound when playing.

Marimba

The marimba is a type of percussion instrument which is played by striking wooden bars with a mallet. It is known for its warm, gentle sound, characteristic to wooden bars. Below the bars are metal tubes which produce resonance. They come in varying lengths according to the bar's pitch. These resonators amplify the bars' sound, giving the music depth. The marimba has a broader tonal range than any other percussion instrument, and can play melodies and chords, meaning it is often used for solo performances.

Electric guitar 02

An electric guitar is an instrument that uses devices called pickups to sense the vibrations of its strings, sending an electric current through a shield (cable) to an amp, thereby adjusting the volume and quality of the sound. Electric guitars are used in music performances across various genres, and probably the most popular models are the Les Paul by Gibson, and the Stratocaster by Fender. Although electric guitars come in countless different designs and shapes, they can be divided into two main types: hollow body guitars and solid body guitars. This paper craft model is based on a solid body guitar, at a scale of about 1:2.5 that of a real guitar.

Helicopter

A helicopter is a type of aircraft that has rotary wings. The engine causes the long slender wings, called rotors, at the top of the helicopter to rotate, providing lift and allowing the helicopter to fly. Compared to aircraft with fixed wings, helicopters are slow and get poor mileage so they don't fly long continuous distances. But they can take off and land in narrow places because they have the unique ability to move up and down vertically, as well as fly in reverse, sideways and hover. For these reasons, helicopters have been put to use in many ways, such as for transporting cargo, conducting rescue operations, and for industrial aviation. This paper-craft helicopter is a standard single-rotor type.

Articulated Ladder Truck

Unlike a straight ladder, the Skyarm ladder articulates in several places, making it possible to avoid utility wires and other obstacles encountered during firefighting and rescue work. By attaching a fixed waterway to the ladder sections, a large volume of water can be deployed quickly and accurately. The Skyarm Sigma features a set of push-button jacks that can be extended to support the weight of the truck and maintain a stable, perpendicular platform, while the three-section telescop-ing ladder can play a role in rescue situations that require considerable horizontal reach. Because the floor of the platform basket remains horizontal, aerial operations can be carried out with added safely.

Chemical Fire Engine

Chemical fire engines are primarily used for fighting liquid fuel or chemical fires at oil refineries or airports, where water would fan the flames. A chemical fire engine can spray fire-extinguishing foam or dry chemical powder, which extinguish the fire by smothering. The vehicles are often equipped with a water tank and a separate tank for the fire extinguishing chemicals. In addition to fire stations, these special-ized fire trucks are often on standby to enable rapid response at chemical plants and other potential hazardous sites. The foam tender is a specialized chemical fire engine equipped with a water cannon that can be maneuvered via an electronic remote control and a hose car to provide access to tight areas, making it a highly flexible fire-fighting unit.

Sailship:Cutty Sark

This is a tea-clipper built by Scot and Linton Co. of England in 1869. The Cutty Sark is the only extant tea-clipper. A tea clipper means a high speed sailing ship that transported tea from China to Europe, and all ships competed the transportation speed. The Cutty Sark was at its full blast to crown the end of the era of sailing ships with perfection in those days, but as the Suez Canal was completed and steamboats have emerged, the change of times forced tea clippers to retire. The Cutty Sark was sold to Portugal at one time, but returned to England in 1922, and preserved and exhibited along the Thames since 1954. It was burnt down by fire during the restoration work on decrepitude caused by long open-air exhibition, but since most of the parts had been retained in other locations, the restoration work is still in progress today.

Mercedes Benz 500K

The K Series was born as the highest class touring car to replace the traditional S/SS series.First, Model 380K was introduced in 1933, and as early as in the next year, 1934, the 500K Series that had evolved from the 380K replaced it. Conventionally, the letter K represented “Kurz” (short), but the letter K in the new series means Kompressor (with a compressor). It usually exerted 100PS at the maximum, but when the compressor actuated, it achieved 160PS together with a mechanical sound called “a war cry of Walkure” and was able to drive the body that weighs about 2.2t up to 160km/h.The chassis was equipped with the 4W independent drives and 4W hydraulic brakes with a servo, which were well ahead of its time. In those days, it had been a tradition to consign the bodies of high class cars to noted coach builders, but Mercedes Benz did not choose so but conducted equally brilliant and scrupulous coach work at its own plant in Sindelfingen. The bodies came with Cabriolet A, B and C and Limousine. The 500K in an elegant 1935 body was a model called special roadster. The production volume is said to be 25. Data: 5,018cm3 water-cooled 8-cylinder OHV super-charged engine, producing 100PS/160PS; top speed 160km/h

MG TC Midget

In 1945, immediately after the end of WWII, MG started production of TC Midget in the UK. While TC Midget followed suit to the pre-war TB mechanically, it succeeded to the traditions of MG Midget with the ladder-shaped frame, oblong leaf springs, thin 4.50-19 tires, engine positioned behind the front wheel shaft, low and long hood, cockpit in front of the rear axle, flowing fender that covered 19-inch tires, etc. The only difference was a slight increase in the body width, and the driving posture was also in the pre-war vintage style. One of its attractions was high maneuverability that matched the taste of the British people who prefer open air. The historical significance of such TC Midget is not the fact that it is a sports car born in the devastated state of mid-war and post-war periods but the fact that the American soldiers who occupied Europe made the first contact with a sports car from an unknown world, experienced the joy of motor sports and open air, became fascinated by it and brought many TC cars to the US, which instantly heightened the fame of MG. It is no exaggeration to say that the motor sports in the US could not have been possible without the influence of TC. The 1948 TC Midget that is the model of this paper craft is the model in which the dashboard is covered with the same cloth as the interior and the steering wheel is brown, that were the only changes in the life of TC.Data: 1,250cm3 water-cooled 4-cylinder OHV engine, producing 54HP; top-speed 75mph

Ford Convertible Cabriolet

Convertible Cabriolet. As the name implies, it is a convertible model of a roofless car when the top is folded down and a coupe when the top is put up. It accommodates the driver and 2 passengers in the front seat and 3 in the rear seat (storage type: rumble seat). When the top is folded down, it is neatly stored inside the body. This style is attractive and this model is said to be the best among all other Ford models. This model was the first to adapt the steel disc wheels to replace the conventional spoke wheel. The style of Convertible Cabriolet of the Ford 68 series in 1963 caught on popularity, but what is more interesting is the side valve (SV) type V8 engine. In sales competition with Chevrolet, Ford adapted a V8 engine to popular cars in competition with the 6 cylinder engine of Chevrolet. The major characteristic of this engine is smoothness of revolution. Compared to a 4 cylinder engine, the 6 cylinder engine had a better balance. To compete against this advantage, the V8 engine of Ford offered smoothness like an electric motor. American devotees regard this SV type V8 engine as the secret (true) best seller car of Henry Ford and hold it dear to their hearts by calling it the “EARLY FORD V8”. Data: Water cooled engine, V type side valve, 8 cylinders, displacement 3,621m3, 85HP

Toy Train

"Toy Train" is the nickname for the locomotives that travel the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in India. The locomotives are loved for their cute, toy-like appearance, and the oldest one of them has been running for as many as 110 years. Due to deterioration, most of the locomotives now run on diesel, but some are still powered by steam engines. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, as its name suggests, runs through the mountains in the Darjeeling area, shipping tea or transporting passengers to cooler climates. The train is currently registered as a World Heritage Site.

Paddle Steamer (Sidewheeler)

A paddle steamer is a boat with paddle wheels on the sides that are turned by a steam engine, propelling the boat forward. A paddle steamer on the ocean or a river is quite an impressive site, with its paddle wheels turning away and black smoke puffing out of its large chimney. In the old days, boats needed people to make them move through the water, or sails, which require technical operation, but in the latter half of the 18th century when the steam engine was utilized, the paddle steamer was developed. In the mid-19th century, with the improvement of the steam engine, and utilization of the screw propeller, the number of paddle steamers being produced began to drop. There are two types of paddle steamers: sidewheelers, which have paddle wheels on both sides, and sternwheelers, which have a single wheel at the back. This paper craft model is based on the sidewheeler type.
